Holding Space for Iranians in the Diaspora: Single Session Offering

First a breath & recognition for the courageous & brave Iranian people who have and continue to show up for a Free Iran from an oppressive & tyrannical regime.

What is happening to the Iranian people is not abstract. It is not “news.” It is ongoing violence, repression, human rights violations, loss of life and stolen futures.

It is a people resisting, fighting, and claiming their rights despite immense risk.

For those of us in the diaspora, there is the parallel cruelty of distance: watching in real time, loving from afar, carrying responsibility without proximity nor clarity.

Many of us are walking around with activated nervous systems, fractured attention, complicated guilt, rage that has nowhere to go, shaking hands, grief that doesn’t get proper witnessing, and family conversations that carry decades of unprocessed trauma, silence, and survival strategies.

We are trying to stay informed without being destroyed by the images. We are trying to care without becoming numb, hopeless, or consumed. We are trying to live our daily lives while unspeakable tortures are made to be endured by our people.

We require support.

We require support for us

& so that we can continue to raise their voices.

Kindly, we can't afford to be stuck in helplessness & despair.

I am offering these single sessions to create a confidential, grounded space for dear Iranians in the diaspora to process what this moment is doing to them; emotionally, relationally, politically, and in their bodies. I encourage you to continue having conversations within your families, friend circles, communities and in online spaces, however I also know that many don't have access to all of these avenues. So it is my honor to be one landing place, to speak plainly, feel fully, and think critically without needing to translate yourself, perform strength, or minimize the reality of what is happening.

This offering exists because our communities deserve spaces that do not sanitize rage, or reduce survival to individual coping. We deserve places to metabolize reality and move through emotions, not bypass them.

If you are Iranian in the diaspora living within Ontario and want a confidential space to think, feel, and orient yourself in this moment, you’re welcome to book your session below or reach out with any questions.
