Jansu Psychotherapy provides online psychotherapy for adults aged 21 and older in Ontario. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit our website, contact us online or follow a link to book an appointment.
We aim to collect only what we need, explain how we use it and give you meaningful choices.
Information you choose to share
If you contact us through the website or by email, we receive the contact details and message you provide. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and arrange next steps.
Please keep website messages brief and avoid including detailed health information, therapy history or other sensitive information. Website forms and ordinary email are not intended for sharing clinical details.
Cookies and website measurement
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to support its operation, understand website usage through Google Analytics, and measure advertising performance through Google Ads.
These technologies may collect information automatically when you visit, including pages viewed, website interactions, referral sources, device and browser information, IP addresses, and cookie or advertising identifiers. We review summary reports to improve the website and understand how our advertising is performing. The underlying information is not necessarily anonymous.
You can manage, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functions and may not prevent all measurement. For questions about these practices, please contact Jansu through our contact page.

Booking and clinical information
Appointment booking takes place through Jane, a separate service provider. Information you provide there is used to arrange and manage appointments. Our practice remains responsible for the client information under its control. You can also read Jane’s privacy notice.
Personal health information is subject to Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004. This website policy does not replace information about confidentiality, consent and clinical records discussed when arranging care. You can request those details from Jansu.
Service providers, protection and retention
We use providers including Wix for the website, Google for measurement, and Jane for booking and practice administration. Depending on the service, information may be processed outside Canada and subject to the laws of that location.
We do not sell your personal information. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and limit access to those who need it. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
We retain information only for as long as needed for its purpose and applicable legal or professional obligations. Clinical records have separate retention requirements. Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by law.
Questions and privacy requests
Contact Jansu Edis through our contact page with privacy questions, concerns, or requests to access or correct your information. You can also ask about withdrawing consent or deleting information, subject to applicable retention requirements.
For concerns about personal health information, you may contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date above.
