Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying,#11222)
Ontario wide, trauma-informed & evidence- based therapy for folks in relationships.

Hi, I’m Jansu.
she/her
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying #11222)
I’m a bicultural queer woman, an immigrant, and a proud mama. I bring warmth, compassion and directness to our therapeutic space. We can talk honestly about hurt, resentment, unmet needs, closeness and the things that feel difficult to say.
I want to understand what matters to each of you, including where your needs or desires may differ.
History & Culture Matter Here.
You may have different ideas about what a healthy & happy relationship looks & feels like. Setting a limit can feel reasonable to one person and disloyal to another. We get to talk about those differences, including how racism, migration, religion & gender expectations affect your relationship.
My approach is anti-oppressive, BIPOC & Queer affirming. I work with intercultural couples, children of immigrants & LGBTQ2IA+ people, including people in open & polyamorous relationships. Your identity and relationship structure matter. I welcome all parts of you.
Getting you out of stuckness & into connection.
You don’t need a perfect explanation. We can start with a recent moment that didn’t go how you hoped. What were you trying to say? What did the other person hear? What happened next?
Understand each other
One of you may have plenty of words while the other struggles to respond. We can slow the conversation down and look at where it becomes difficult to hear each other.
Return to what still hurts
An apology or a calmer day may leave important things unsaid. We can talk about what still needs acknowledgment and what each of you is asking to change.
Connect it to life at home
We can work through a specific situation: asking for help, returning to a conversation after a pause, or discussing closeness. There’s room to talk about what you’ve already tried and where it falls apart.
